Delphine is a qualified Person-Centred counsellor from the University of Strathclyde and a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). Alongside her private work, Delphine works as a therapist for CHANGES Health Community Project in Musselburgh and has particular experience supporting and counselling individuals suffering from stress, anxiety and depression. She is able to offer counselling in both English and French. In her spare time, Delphine likes walking, reading and meditating.

Mary trained in Reverse Therapy with Dr John Eaton in London, after seeing the benefits for a family member with M.E., and achieved accreditation in 2006. She has many years experience working in the NHS as a clinical pharmacist within a mental health team, having recently retired from this work. Mary is fascinated by the healing effect of attentively listening to our natural body wisdom. She enjoys country walks, singing in the church choir and family activities.
Ruth has worked as a qualified therapist since 2003. Her treatments are very relaxing and adjusted to the differing needs of the clients. Ruth will uses each treatments on its on and also uses some of them together in a session if desired. With her work she helps the body to find its own balance, releasing tensions and helping to find well-being in body and mind.
Hanka received her massage diploma in 2002 from the Edinburgh Therapy Academy, since then she has studied to understand pain and how to relieve it. She qualified in Jing advanced massage training and learned how to help people with back pain, neck pain, frozen shoulder and sciatica. Hanka is also interested in alternative medicine, enjoys yoga, walking and nature.
Kathryn has certificates in CST I, CST II, and SER1 in CranioSacral Therapy from the Upledger Institute UK, and is a qualified Medical Herbalist. She has been practising in Edinburgh for three years. She believes the two therapies truly complement each other, and work well with other therapies. Kathryn worked as a scientist for 22 years, before training as a Medical Herbalist, and found the knowledge gained useful in the training and practice of both therapies. Kathryn is one of the three partners in Hawthorn Health Clinic and enjoys helping to achieve the clinic’s aim of providing a complementary health service to the community. Outside work, Kathryn’s interests include reading, growing herbs, receiving various therapies, and spending time with her family and friends.
